Here are some more information for Acura Honda:

What are Immobilizers? Immobilizers are electronic devices fitted to a vehicle in order to prevent the engine from operating unless the proper key is used. It is one of the primary security features that many vehicles are manufactured with today and has greatly reduced the number of vehicle thefts in the US because it prevents the "hot wiring" of the vehicle even when access has been gained.
Interestingly enough, immobilizers are required equipment in numerous vehicles worldwide due to the fact that they have greatly reduced Vehicular theft. A static computer code was utilized on earlier models in the vehicle's ignition key. An RFID, or "Radio Frequency Identification module that was looped around the barrel of the vehicle's door lock barrel was then checked against the ECU (Engine Control Unit) to see if they matched. If there wasn't a match, or the code was not recognized, this ECU prohibits the flow of fuel and will not allow the ignition process to happen.
Re-Flashing
Re-flashing is more commonly know as "flash reprogramming", and just like with so many other vehicle repair certifications, it requires that you be skilled at using the right equipment and are trained at performing this type of repair work. Re-flashing involves the repair or replacement of a vehicle's ECU (Engine Control Unit) and bringing it up to the current required standards.
The ECU is a control unit which determines the quantity of fuel and timing of the ignition as well as other parameters regarding the operation of an internal combustion engine. Using multidimensional maps, and reading values ascertained from these maps is how the ECU functions. These values are then calculated by sensor devices used to monitor the engine. Prior to the invention of ECU's, actuators and mechanical or pneumatic sensors controlled the engine's idling speed, ignition timing, and the injection of fuel.

The Next Best Thing to Acura Rsx
A set of premium quality Acura RSX parts is the next best thing to having a brand new RSX. Since the Acura RSX model is no longer being sold, replacing damaged RSX parts now serves as perhaps the only means to preserve one’s Acura RSX.
The Acura RSX was a strong seller for Honda. However, with the introduction of the 2006 Honda Civic Si, which is approximately as powerful but less expensive, Honda decided -to cease production of Acura RSXs. It was more or less a marketing decision for Honda, as they did not want to cannibalize one product with another. Despite the RSX enthusiasts' outrage over the news, the manufacturers of Honda and Acura decided on focusing more on the Honda Civic Si, since many are inclined to buy it for its similarity with the Acura RSX, but with a lower a tag price.
For those who were fortunate to grab their own Acura RSX, the line of Acura RSX parts is out in the market to be of assistance in maintaining as well as preserving the now legendary Acura RSX. Basic Acura RSX parts designed to enhance the car’s performance include ignition wires, high-flow air filters, and exhaust headers. One can also opt to avail of Acura RSX parts like nitrous, turbochargers, and multiple-spark ignition boxes. These parts will surely improve RSX's run.
A car model that is no longer available on the market does not necessarily make it obsolete. The Acura RSX remains to be one of the best vehicles Acura has so far. The reason it was pulled out of the market had nothing to do with its quality, but more for practicality. Despite being Honda's luxury car making arm, Acura has not fully thrown away the notion of practicality. Continued manufacturing of Acura RSX parts is one of the best offers Acura has for RSX enthusiasts.

What is the cheapest website for high quality honda/acura parts?
I am looking for parts for my acura legend and my honda element.
When you consider that a Honda lasts longer than practically any other car, Honda parts sometimes make the most sense. All my Hondas have lasted more than 300,000 miles and without costing me an arm and a leg. Each time I replaced parts with aftermarket parts, I ended up replacing them again and again. Believe me, I was certainly sorry I bought a remanufactured alternator thinking it would save me money... sure, it saved me money alright but boy was I glad it came with a lifetime warranty! Three units later and a heated discussion with the shop manager over how it wasn't my car eating alternators and I finally got an alternator that lasted. It just wasn't worth it.
Suspension parts are particularly prone to wear when they aren't Honda parts.
So, if you are prepping a car to sell it, going with aftermarket parts makes sense. If you plan to repair the car to keep for yourself, original Honda parts will serve you better. Here's where I get mine:
