My Alpine iDA-X001 head unit will not recognize my iPod...?
I have an iPod Touch and my dad has a 5th generation iPod Video and my Alpine iDA-X001 has recently stopped recognizing the two. The problem started when he updated his iTunes software to the 7.6.2. When i came out later that night the head unit wouldnt recognize my iPod or his.
Please help me...
if you have one you probably know that it sucks not being able to play your iPod since it cant play CDs or Tapes.
I have that deck...and yes that would suck balls.
pop your deck out make sure the usb is still connected (if you have the one without the screw on it).
It's done it to me once, I just reset my ipod (it's a nano - hold the top and middle button at the same time)....once i thought my ipod was screwed, but i had the "hold" on, so make sure it's off if your trying to reset it.
