Amplifier cooling fan help please?
I have a stinger brushless crossflow fan that i paid $30 for i dont want to damage it so i havent hooked it up yet. it has a blue wire and a red wire, im guessing the red is hot and the blue is remote i just dont know, i dont wont to burn it up. What should each wire be connected to ?and should i mount it right next to my amp or keep it at a distance?
Fans run off an electromagnet, this means if you run the power supply though the neg wire it will spin the fan in the oposite direction. Red is pos (insulated wire coating red is a universal color for pos).
