Air Induction
Most cars are manufactured with a stock are intake which limits the amount of air pulled into your engine. Your ride deserves unrestricted are flow, and you can increase the amount of cool air with an aftermarket intake from a company like K&N.
Power Chips
Electronic fuel injection is controlled by your ride's onboard computer. So, the best way to up the power in this case is with a power chip. What kind of Amp is in a 1999 Camaro SS?
I'm looking to upgrade the speaker system in my convertible since I've seem to have blown the front speakers. The car has the stock Monsoon deck in it still. I've been told that the amp is under the front driver seat. I would like to know if it is a 4 cross over type. Can anyone verify this pls. I would like to get the best 4 speakers I can get for my 400 to 500 dollar budget. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
If you want more pound I would go for the Polk dB component series. I've found they have the highest rms wattage for the price. 100 watts rms per speaker with a price of ~$165 for a pair with external crossovers. They also come with a external tweeter to make it sound just right and if you don't want to mount it separately from the speakers, then you can mount it onto the grill of the larger speaker.
Hint: Go onto crutchfield.com and go to outfit my car and enter all the information it asks you and it will come up with a huge list of things that will fit.
