Car audio...tweeter problems?
I installed (month or two ago) a pair of tweeters in my truck...and just recently the passenger side tweeter has been crackling but not constantly, only on some songs its quite bizarre, so i checked all the connections and they seem fine...i've installed my deck, amp and subs so i do have experience...could it simply be a malfunction with the one tweeter or a bad connection somewhere? help would be appreciated

btw the driver side tweeter is working perfectly
it also sounds worse while driving on bumpy roads which leads me to believe its a connection problem...but like i say they all seemed fine
to answer your question...yes they do have crossovers i installed them on the door panel
Check all connections you may have a wire grounding out so check the path of the wire and make sure there are no nicks or breaks in the line. you could also swap tweets and see if the problem switches sides or not
