What do I need to upgrade the navigation system in my Grandma's 2006 Honda CRV?
She doesn't know where to go...but hinted that she needed it. I didn't want to ask her the brand name of her system and such since this would be a gift and surprise. Which upgrade should i purchase for her vehicle. The navigation is the one she purchased in the car from Honda. Any suggestions or links??? Thanks a million!
If the navigation system came with the car (i.e. installed in the dash), then you have no choice but to goto the dealer and they do the installation and charge you accordingly.
I don't know how much it is, but a friend has an '04 sienna van and she received 1 free upgrade from toyota, the 2nd time she wanted to upgrade they handed her a bill for $417. That's labor, and the software, and she didn't get to keep the software on disc.
