How to get all basic cable channels?
CABLE CHANNELS...
I have a Cable service, the basic cable service covers like 50 or 60 channels, i have a cheaper service call conect, it just give me 40 channels, 1 - 41, recently the cable company readjust the channels and took all the good ones to the 50s and 60s, like discovery, sony, warner, national geo, history... so im pisssed off... any suggestions how to hack the signal to get all the basic channells. Discovery is on the 59 i.e. and it looks fuzzi so i might thinking in an amplifier? could work?
ITs a cable service in mexico, and i think they used some kind of a filter probably just to reduce the signal... but might be another type of filter... suggestions?
Two things: 1, you didn't say which Cable company you are getting service from. 2, nor what city. It does make a difference.
In truth, the only thing you can do is ask them for expanded basic service or consider going to Dish Network.
I am with Charter and I'm considering going to Dish because it's about $10-15 a month cheaper plus has more channels. However, if you are with AT&T, see if you can get U-Verse with them. It's TV over your telephone line.
