how do i wire a dual amp, solo sub setup?
I want to hook up 2 amps (of the same model) up to 1 subwoofer, how would i go about wiring something like it? Would i simply hook the + from the amp1 and amp 2 to the + on the subwoofer, and do the same for the ground?
Please provide a picture, I'm bad at visualizing stuff like that.
make sure that the two amps are "strappable" which means that they can both be hooked up together for one speaker-- daisy chain is the wiring method
You will need signal and remote turn on to the new amp. If your HU has three pre-outs, you just need a new patch cable. Also, if one of the amps has RCA outputs, you can use those, or otherwise you will need Y-adapters on the RCA cable to the full-range amp. You can daisy chain the remote wire from one amp to the other amp.
