now i want AVH-P5100DVD because it has a dvd screen and i just like the looks of it, but does the DEH-P980BT better sound quality because of the 5V preouts? does the 5V make a difference is sounds compared to 4V? also im afraid that the in dash AVH-P5000DVD will break because i had friends whose dvd screen wouldnt work anymore.

What model and stereo do you currently have? Ive noticed that a lot of aftermarket headunits look out of place in an audi, and if you currently have a bose system, it will probably sound worse with a different nonbose unit.
If your nonbose and really want one I would go with the AVH.
