my dvd work just fine but every cd that i put in my dvd drive they just dont work how is that possible?
i meant ...when i put dvd's into my dvd rom they work but if i put cds in they dont work...???!!!wtf!!
The drive reads DVD and CD differently, sounds like the CD reading part is not functioning, you could try a CD cleaning kit, but they are normally $10, and a new DVD rewriter is around $30, depend on the age, I would have gone for a replacement.
