What do u think about the 08 mazdaspeed3 grand touring?
WHat is the 0-100 time. IS it fast? Can it beat evo,300zx,350z,g35,g37,sti,speed6 when the speed3 is stock? Will it catch the ppl's attention when u r at the gas pump, or anywhere? And plz tell any other info u can on the 08 mazdaspeed3 grand touring. THANKS
I bought one in November and so far I love it. The car is very fast, but also very hard to drive with so much power going to the front wheels. I can tell you that you will loose to any of the cars listed for 0-60. If you know how to drive you should beat the speed 6, 350z, and g35 in the quarter mile. Keep in mind that if you are not a very, very good driver you will loose bad to all of them in the quarter mile too. On the highway where traction is not an option you can hang even with STis and Evos. They may pull a bit on you, but not much. For almost 15000 less than an evo or sti I think it is a good deal.
You will not get attention from anyone except true car entusiasts with this car. That is the point, it is a Q-ship in every sense. People in new Mustang GTs will pay no attention to you until you embaress them.
All in all I love the car. From a stop it already has more power than you can possibly use in a FWD car. On the highway or once you are above 4th gear the car just goes. If I put it in 4th and keep it above 3000 RPM it pulls like a V-8. I love the car and would reccomend it. It doesn't get attention from people at the pump, but it doesn't get the attention of the cops either.
I got my car for MSRP, but only because I had to get it that day. Depending on where you live, if you look around you can get one for less than MSRP. They also just released a 2008.5 model with an updated interior and radio. This is the last model that they will make of the speed3 so if you want one I would try to get one within a few months. They made 5000 in 2007 and are supposed to make 5000 in 2008. I am not sure if that includes the 2008.5 The price will go above MSRP when dealers know they aren't getting any more in.
