Combi Centre Car Seat is one of the latest introductions from Combi which brings several variations into the constant stream of infant cars seats. It is ideal for children weighing 22 to 33 pounds. With a 5 - point harness and an installable base combined with an extremely narrow back, it is easily usable beside other car seats. These new features ensure a safe and a comfortable position for the child.
The new Combi Centre has in addition to this several advantages. It comes aided with a narrow back which gives an added leverage to bigger children and allows them to buckle themselves in a more reclining and convenient position. It can further be reclined into four different positions as per the comfort and choice of the child.
The five point harness system, being the one of most recommended measures for safety reasons is added to this infant car seat. This provides a better fit and maximum protection under different kinds of circumstances. The material used is easily removable and washable and adds comfort to the entire system. Seven kinds of adjustments can be made to the entire system without rethreading the entire harness. This comes with a full padding and Tru Safe Side Impact Protection and a Tru Safe Buckle with an indicator. It also comes equipped with a two piece retainer clip which makes it much more serviceable. Thus the Five point harness system is a great advantage and definitely one of the most recommendable qualities of this particular infant car seat.
The base of this particular infant car seat is effortless to install and can be easily done with the help of seatbelts. Without any latch, it can be installed with the help of seatbelts when the base is not available; added to this is a very exclusive in built lock system for the security of the baby.
More importantly this new infant car seat has a tight harness which is highly recommended by safety experts. It also comes into place with the help of a single button thus making it easier to use. It also comes with EPS foam provided in and around the area of the head for the safety of the child. With the release handle placed at the rear end of the carrier it becomes easy to remove the base from the center. It also comes in with a canopy which is easily adaptable.
The Combi Centre Car Seat is an elegant and stylish infant carrier which comes in a dark grey colored patterned material with lime green trimmings. The seat is extremely comfortable with a stuffed back for the convenience of the infant, also since the handle is curved and has rubber padding on it a firmer grip on the seat is ensured.
All in all it would be a fair conclusion to say that Combi has launched an infant car seat both chic and comfortable which also ensures the safekeeping of the child. The product is definitely not cheap, but is certainly a good value for your money.

Getting a Car Cheap Across the Pond
Car prices are becoming unpredictable in the UK, so many car enthusiasts are opting to look over the waters instead. Importing a car can be a good way of getting yourself a bargain car, often one that is unique or rarely seen in the UK.
There are two types of imports; parallel and grey. A parallel import is a make and model available in the UK and abroad, and a grey import is a vehicle which can't be purchased in the UK.
Buying and importing a car from within the EU is generally easier than from outside the EU, as it will have what's called Type Approval, which is a certificate showing the car passes EU standards of use and safety. All new cars sold in the EU will have this certificate – so check when buying.
Cars outside the EU will have to go through a Single Vehicle Approval test, similar in theory to an MOT, but much more indepth. They cost around £250, and because they are more rigorous than the standard MOT, more faults are usually found. This doesn't mean there is anything wrong with the car, but that the country of origin may simply have different standards. When calculating the cost of importing a car, allow a certain amount for any changes an SVA may bring to light.
Getting car insurance for an imported car is important, as you're best to get covered as soon as you purchase the vehicle. If something goes wrong while the car is in transit and you don't have insurance, you could end up out of pocket. It's advisable to take out temporary cover for up to a month, which will cover transportation and enable you to look for cheap car insurance when you've actually got the car in your possession. If you're planning on modifying the vehicle, this could be the best option.
If you decide to use a shipping broker, make sure they have a good reputation for importing other cars from the region you're buying from. Insist they keep you updated at every stage of the import process, and give you a date when your car is due to arrive. Find out what the full balance for importation is, and confirm it covers all taxes, shipping costs and paperwork, and that there are no hidden charges. Don't pay the full balance until your car is in front of you and you have all the relevant documentation in your hands. Any reputable broker will be perfectly agreeable to this.
It's worth doing your research before buying your import, and finding out exactly what the car will cost you to run in the UK. Get a car insurance quote or two, check the price of replacement parts and tyres, find out what the mpg is, and above all, if it's a parallel import, check that you couldn't get it cheaper here after all!

What is the fascination with grey cars?
The overwhelming majority of cars on the road these days seem to be grey. I count 'silver' in this category. Apart from the fact that they don't show the dirt as much, why buy a grey car??
They look expensive????? They are no more expensive than any other colour!!
As for .... I don't have to drive them so why would I care? Ah but I have to look at them, don't I? My own car has unfortunately been in the garage lately and I've driven four different courtesy cars, two of which were grey, so I had no choice other than to drive one.
Dull and unimaginative, I hate them!
God knows they are so ugly, i think lemon or pink would stand out better in a busy car park, it could take ages to find a grey car.
Can the Lada make a British comeback?
The car that spawned a thousand playground jokes could be returning to UK showrooms. But will British motorists take the Russian marque to their hearts?
