ok guys and girls do you think this would work and if so how els can i do it
ive currently got 2 alpine type R 12"
and 2 kicker L7 15"
i want to try and separate the highs and low notes sending the lows to the kickers and the highs to the alpines
im thinking of doing this by purchasing pre amp equalizers and and turn the bass right down on the one going to the kicker amp and raise the frequency for the one going to the alpines
so is it going to work or is it going to sound bad and have you tryed this before
im hopeing it turns out kinda like a component speaker with the tweaters beint the alpines and the mid woofer being the kickers
so..........any ideas

Seems more than a little pointless. Both of those speakers are designed to play the same frequency range, so why split it up? If you want the bass output of four subs, don't cut their frequency range in half. If you want the bass output of two subs, just use two subs.
