Almost everyone knows a fisherman, or someone who thinks he's a fisherman! It seems there are nearly as many kinds of anglers as there are fish and each has his or her peculiarities and foibles.
For instance, there's Mr. Meticulous. We all know him in all his many guises and whether he's a dad, banker, mechanic, swinging single or homebody he's a fisherman to be reckoned with. His boat is pristine and he doesn't trust it to just anyone when it needs service. No, the only way he can be sure that his "baby" is cared for as she deserves is to do the work himself in his own garage where every tool is precisely stored and routinely cleaned. He's a member of the American Sportfishing Organization. He uses a micrometer to measure the height of the prop on his immaculately maintained motor. Should his boat be damaged in any way (horrors!) he will immediately repair it with the finest materials and 4000-grit sandpaper. His boat is nameless-weight distribution would be put all out of whack should he attach letters to the boat!
His passion for fishing spills over to his wardrobe and is expressed in bass embellished ties, marlins cavorting across his BVDs and sleepwear and sailfish flying across his personal checks and address labels. He calculates wind speed and water temperature then puts his mathematical paraphernalia back into his marine grade pocket protector.
Then there's Sir Fabulous. Think the old commercial about Grey Poupon passed between two Mercedes. This man's passion for fishing is surpassed only by the quality of his fishing gear. His new 36-foot deck boat is towed by a Lexus sport utility truck and the trailer was imported from England. He spends more on his gear than you paid for your boat, outfitting himself with the most accurate (read: expensive) navigational and fish tracking aids available. Budweiser has never seen the inside of his onboard refrigerator, which is stocked with microbrews and fine wines.
Everything about Sir Fabulous is opulent and of the finest quality. If not, at least it's expensive! But beneath all that glitter is a generous heart; he's always eager to treat his friends to a day of fishing on his watercraft. He doesn't quite understand all the bells and whistles of his boat and gear but he's inordinately proud of them. Despite all this, he's happy as a kid in a candy store when he hooks a big one and isn't afraid to get his hands dirty landing it.
Which brings us to the Good Ole Boy...an American treasure, a classic stereotype and beloved of fiction writers and tall taletellers alike. His approach to the fine art of fishing is casual, his knots are sloppy and his shorts are made from cut-off leisure suit pants from the disco era. Worms are good enough bait for this guy and he has a constant supply from the manure pile outside the barn or knows someone who does. His old cooler is stocked with Milwaukee's Best and his lunch is last night's overdone hot dogs on white bread, garnished with corn chips and ketchup. The GOB enjoys fishing, not necessarily catching fish. Shucking down to his unmentionables to dive for a lost rod is an accepted part of nearly every trip. The last thing he always does when he's done fishing is to stop at the grocery and buy some filleted bass or other native fish to put in his creel so he can fool his wife into thinking he did all the cleaning. She doesn't like the chore and he loves her almost as much as his old bass boat!
The love of fishing is universal in its attraction for all types of fishermen. There are even "primitive" anglers who use only bows. There's something noble about communing with nature and feeling the breeze on your face while bringing home the bacon-or, in this case, the fish!

Lexus Rx 400h Review - the Pros and Cons
The Lexus RX 400h was introduced in 2006 as the world’s first hybrid-powered luxury crossover SUV. It is a fuel efficient, environmentally conscious version of its popular counterpart, the Lexus RX 350. It has the same sleek style that you would expect from Lexus, but is a gasoline/electric powered hybrid crossover SUV. While gas prices continue to rise, the hybrid-powered Lexus RX 400h boasts excellent fuel economy, increased horsepower, and fewer emissions. Buying a hybrid vehicle has tax benefits as well, and may qualify you for up to $3,000 in tax credits.
The 2008 Lexus RX 400h averages around 27 miles to the gallon in town, and 24 miles to the gallon on the highway. It is environmentally friendly and has been certified as a Super Ultra-Low Emissions Vehicle, with 70% fewer smog-forming emissions than newer vehicles. Lexus has beautifully combined the electric and gas powered motors by utilizing an electronically controlled, continuously variable transmission for a nice smooth ride.
If you are looking for more than just fuel efficiency in a hybrid vehicle, be sure to put the Lexus RX 400h on your list. It is available in two trims, front wheel and all wheel drive, both come with standard features such as dual zone climate control, power front and back row seating, and an air filtration system. Luxury options including voice activation DVD Navigation system with backup camera, heated front seats, and rear DVD entertainment system simply add to the appeal.

**TO ALL LEXUS OWNERS**why are there two disc slots behind the navigation on the lexus es330?
to any owners of the lexus es330 or i'm guessing any lexus that has navigation, why are there two slots to put in discs? i mean the 6 cd changer is in the arm rest and behind the screen is for the navigation disc but then there is one more slot to put another disc...........is it a DVD player??? i dont wanna mess with it until i get a good answer lol (the owners manual is useless)
The other slot is for a cd.
Say you just bought a new cd, and you wanted to pop it in real quick, well you unwrap it and slide it in the single disc slot, instead of having to mess with the changer.
That's what my wife's 05's is.
AND yes the other is for the navi.
