If I used to drink a lot of diet drinks but now stopped will i still be in trouble in the future?
This is something that has been on my mind for a while. I used to drink lots of diet drinks near the summer of my 8th grade until then end of my junior year. Afterwards I stopped, and started drinking only water. I do however feel that after researching the harmful side-effects of aspartame that I may be screwed in the long run... I guess my question is will I still be facing the side effects down the road for my mistakes in the past?
And if so, how many years do you think I shaved off my life?
I experienced grand mal siezures from drinking diet pop when I was in my teens. I quit drinking it at age 16 and have not had a siezure since, Other than the 2 times I was testing if it wa aspartame. I am now 37, while I do not so far show any other long term effects The future is yet to be seen. My son has a neuro-muscular disorder which there is no history of in our family so it makes me Wonder! Did the aspartame do that???
My best advice is keep yourself as healthy as possible and avoid all artificial sweetners!!! I hope you dont end up with any problems. Best of luck!!!
