The way it operates is simple, at the bottom of the pressure pad is a pin that will penetrate the 12 gram co2 cartridge. Once penetrated the cartridge will expel co2 that will blow out paint that is in the upper chamber. There isn't much too it, just find a container that fits tightly around the 12 gram co2 cartridge, attach a nail to a circular disc and pop it on the top (but be careful not to puncture the cartridge), then fill the rest of the area above the cartridge and in between the pressure pad with homemade washable paint.

Where on the internet can I find a picture of rifle cartridges?
I have seen in some gun books and magazines the picture of all the cartridges side by side so you can do a comparison. I'm having a little trouble finding it on the internet, at least one that has the majority of the cartridges on it. So maybe someone can help....
