Do a mazda millenia 2002 have daytime running lights?
The dash is always lite but no headlights, I thought when I bought the car months ago the headlights always came on.
DRL's commonly use low voltage going to the high-beam headlights, not the regular low-beam headlights.
If one of the high-beam lights is burnt out it may kill the whole DRL circuit depending on how their wired. Are both of your high-beam lights working? Try turning them on to check.
My RX8 has the high-beams wired in series for the DRL circuit. When one of them died last spring I had no DRL's. I had to replace the high-beam bulb to get them back.
