1965: Mono Was The Standard, Stereo An Afterthought
In 1965 when Help! was recorded and released mono was the standard way that people listened to music was mono. Stereo was still very new at that time. This is why The Beatles focused their time and energy on the mono mix of Help! The stereo mix was done in a very "experimental" way because little was really known about how you should mix in stereo.
1987: CD Release Of The Beatles Albums
22 years later when Help! was released on CD for the first time, stereo was definitely the standard way people listened to music so only a stereo version of the album was released.
And since the original stereo version was deemed "too strange" or "too exerimental" in 1987, a new stereo mix was made (by George Martin) and used for the CD release.
This means that the original mixes (both mono & stereo) of Help! released in 1965 were not available on CD.
2009: Remastered Beatles CD Box Sets
Another 22 years after their original CD release, all of The Beatles albums are being re-released on CD in new remastered versions.
There will be a Beatles stereo box set which, of course, features stereo mixes of all of The Beatles albums. These will be the same mixes on CD now, the big difference being that they are remastered for more clarity and finer detail (and these CDs will be louder than the ones released in 1987.)
There will also be a Beatles mono box set which will include a CD which has the original mono & stereo mixes of Help! on it. This box set includes mono mixes of the first 10 Beatles albums (through The White Album) and original stereo mixes for two Beatles albums (Help! & Rubber Soul) which have never been released before on CD.

The Help! CD which includes the original mono & stereo mixes is not available for individual purchase, but only as a part of the box set.
There is one other Beatles album in the same situation, Rubber Soul. It was also recorded & released in 1965 and it also has never had it's original mono & stereo mixes released until 9/9/9. These original mixes of Rubber Soul are included in the Beatles Mono Box Set as well.
Choosing A Good Hands Free Headset

Earbud headsets have a small speaker that is placed within the ear itself. The headset stays in the ear as a result of pressure against the inside of the ear. These headsets can be very comfortable when designed correctly and a good unit will include multiple eargels for different shapes and sized of ears. Poorly designed earbuds can become uncomfortable quickly which results in the earbud not being used for calls.
Over the ear headsets are designed with a single speaker that rests on the outside of the ear but has an earhook to keep the speaker in place. A good over the ear headset will come with an earhook that can be adjusted or a variety of different sized earhooks. The earhook and speaker should both provide a comfortable fit or else the headset will be of little use.
Microphone sound quality is another important factor when choosing an over the ear headset. Boom microphones can provide exceptional sound quality when designed with high grade microphones. Popular brands like Plantronics and Jabra put extensive research into designing good quality microphones. Unlike lapel microphones, some boom microphones can be used with a windsock to dampen outside noise providing much higher quality sound for the person on the other end of the call. Overall, the over the ear headset is a great option for those needing a corded headset and wanting good sound quality. These types of headsets provide the best of both worlds.
Over the head headsets are designed with a headband that goes over the top of the head. These types of headsets are the most secure and can come in a mono or stereo configuration. The mono configuration has only a single speaker on the headband while the stereo has a speaker on each side of the headband. This type of headset includes a boom microphone much like those found on the over the ear headsets.
If budget is the main concern, the earbud headsets are the best option, if sound quality and a secure headset are the most important factors, the over the ear or over the head headsets are the best options. Whatever the case, finding a comfortable solution that provides the sound quality needed will allow the headset to actually be used rather than just another thing to clutter up the car.

Will a mono car amplifier power my subs just as good as a 2 channel amp?
I'm in the process of buying a new amp. iv been told good things about both. so i was wondering if a mono amp will power my subs just as good as a 2 channel amp? I'm looking at a 3000 watt 1ohm stable Quantum audio amp. my buddy has a 2 channel one and it powers the subs amazingly. just curious about the moons. please let me know.
Mono amps are made for subs. They are usually stable at lower ohm loads. Two channel amps are good in bridged mode for subs. But, most aren't stable below 4 ohms bridged.
In my opinion, Mono amps do a better job and give you more choices in voice coil configuration and wiring than their 2 channel counterparts.
