you might think i'm an alpine fanboy but trust me on this when i say that the Type-R subwoofer puts out some of the best sound quality AND insane bass for the money
also, if you call sonicelectronix, they can hook you up with a couple 15" CVX subs that run 1000 watts RMS for 200$ a piece and they put out roughly the same SPL as the Solobaric L7 and anyone who knows car audio knows the L7 name. that would leave 600 bucks for a good amp

oh and uh... i wouldn't suggest ever buying sony car audio products like that one guy suggested with the Xplodes, and i'm sure you don't want to drive to Wisconsin.
