It's amazing how far reaching MP3 technology has become since the introduction of the iPod in 2003. Apple's vision of the iPod has truly extended to just about anything consumers can imagine. We can play our iPods anywhere. At home, at the gym, on a hike and in the car. But it's the car stereo application that seems to have fallen short for consumers. But its not Apple's fault. The Beautiful Mazda Mx-5 Roadster Coupe 1.8i
The Mazda MX-5 Roadster Coupé 1.8i is one of the good-looking coupe-cabriolet available. And unlike any coupe-cabrios out there that are derived from a hatchback with a sort of weird looking elongated boot to accommodate the retractable metal roof, the MX-5 was designed from the very beginning as a two-seater convertible sports car. This also explains why it looks stunning with roof up or roof down.
However the MX-5 is not all just about fabulous looks. The MX-5 Roadster Coupe feels every inch a sports car with its rear-wheel drive, powerful engine, and direct steering which provides the car with a clean, spirited feeling as you sit low to the ground whiz through the traffic and round the bends.
The MX-5 Roadster is quick even if it is only equipped with a 1.8i and not the top-of-the-range 2.0i. And even with only entry-level specs the Roadster coupe still manages to sprint from 0 to 62 mph in under 9.6 seconds which is the result of having 124 bhp in a fairly light vehicle which is just 37 kg more than the soft-top version which is not entirely bad considering the weight of the metal roof together with all the associated mechanical gizmos and Mazda accessories that it has. The price of the Roadster coupe is a little expensive. How can I directly connect my iPod to my '03 impala w/o using a transmitter?
I've seen cables on ebay that say you can connect to the front of the stereo, but my stereo doesn't have an AUX port on the front. And I guess another question would be "Are there Chevy OEM stereos that have direct iPod support and if so would they be compatible with my '03 Impala?" I've looked around but never found an answer. I don't wanna go with another brand because I'm sure it wouldn't look right.
