Features and Functionality
The Brother DCP-8045D functions primarily as a copier and printer. The walk-up copy features don't require a computer connection in order to provide high-quality results, and the flatbed glass top is big enough to handle both letter and legal size paper. A 50-page automatic document feeder makes multiple-page documents easy to copy and scan, and the results come out at an impressive speed of up to 21 copies per minute. The copy control panel is a backlit LCD screen, and you can resize your copies down to 25 percent or up to 400 percent at the touch of a button.
Scanning is offered in black and white only, though the ability to resize the images means that you can reach a maximum dpi of 9600 x 9600 (interpolated). When connected to a computer, scanned files can be sent directly to email as a PDF or JPEG.
For printing purposes, the DCP-8045D provides speeds of up to 21 pages per minute and a dpi resolution of up to 2400 x 600 dpi. Results are crisp and clear for text, while images and graphics are offered in a multi-bit gray scale range. Both copying and scanning can be printed on both sides of the paper thanks to the automatic duplex feature.
One of the best features of the Brother DCP-8045D is its ability to upgrade for larger offices or more complex work environments. The standard 250-sheet paper tray can be upgraded to reach twice the capacity, and the 32MB of memory is expandable to up to 160MB. Connectivity for the DCP-8045D is offered via the USB interface, and larger workgroups can network users through the optional external Ethernet or wireless connection options.
The printer/copier provides results on letter paper, legal paper, envelopes, transparencies, label paper, and heavy or light paper products. Those items that don't fit into the standard paper tray can be fed via an adjustable 50-sheet multipurpose tray.
Brother DCP-8045D toner is available in two different types: the TN570 and the TN540. The larger of the two cartridges, the TN570, allows users to produce up to 6,700 pages, while the smaller one will reach a maximum output of 3,500 pages. All DCP-8045 cartridges are offered in standard Black only, and are easily replaced via a flip-down panel.

Car dvd player question...?
Ok i have a Flipdown screen...it doesnt have a dvd player so we have to buy one and connect it to the screen under the seat......is the dvd player supposed to connect to something to get power or does it go into the DC12V outlet...and do the wireless headphones have some type of connector lyk something that transmits a signal connected to the headphone jack on the flip down... or is it connected somewhere internally? please help.. thankyou
that car is a 2001 Windstar lx the flip down is a 6.8" Audiovox VOH682A ...at the car place they wont tell me the truth...i am still debating what dvd player to buy...
i got an estimate it was $70 to install the flipdown ...$140 for the dvd player installed too...and $75 for the headphones...i figured that if i bought a used car dvd player and some cheap headphones i could save alot of money rather than spending $300 on a car that might not even last very long....
going to need a lot more detail than that.
I think your best bet since you seem a little unfamiliar with this, is to take the car to a installer (not best buy or circuit city) and see what they can do. A correct answer is going to depend a lot on some specifics you probably will not be able to answer, so in this case rely on experience.
