It's crazy.

And when an ad or sales letter doesn't break even, it just amazes me that people won't try out... a new headline... a new medium... a new offer...
The bottom line is it doesn't matter what area of life you are in, you should never accept no for an answer.
For instance, if I was diagnosed with a deadly disease tomorrow and the doctor said "You have 6 months to live."
... I certainly wouldn't accept his decision, lay down and die.
I would find out everything I could about the disease.
I would find the top experts in it.
I would read everything I could get my hands on.
I would get virtual assistants researching it.
I would find out all of the alternative therapies available which may be able to help.
And I would keep going until I found a solution.
That's what... I've noticed... successful people do.
They don't lie down and take things. They either find a way to fix things and make things happen... Or they make one.

Can I use my TV as a monitor for my laptop using a vga 15 pin to 9 pin dsub port?
Have tried s-video and the picture is fuzzy. Will plugging into the rs232c dsub din port work or is it just for sending commands to your tv?

You are correct, the RS232 is only for sending commands and cannot be used for video input. S-Video is a comparatively low quality video connection that only supports low resolutions, hence the fuzzy image.
If your TV doesn't have a VGA or DVI input, then theres no real way of getting a high quality image from a laptops VGA connector. If the laptop has DVI however and the TV has VGA/DVI/HDMI then this is another story.
Additional:
I'm afraid you can only use the HDMI if your laptop has a DVI output. Otherwise, you'd have to buy a converter box.
