What does OEM in the description mean?
Well I am thinking of buying a new RAM and I found a really cheap DDR2 from AData...1GB for just 7euros. Thing is, it says OEM in the model description and I found out it means original manufacturer. Does this mean it won't work for my built-to-order pc?
It should work, provided that your board supports DDR2 RAM.
Most of the time OEM products come shipped without all the fancy packaging. Some OEM products (in the computer world) don't include bundled software, and they may come with a limited set of manuals/literature.
