Is there a way i can unlock a chevy S10 radio?
Its an RDS radio for a 2003 chevy S10 im getting ready to buy, the dealer said they took it to a local chevy dealer and the other dealer couldnt get it unlocked, so if the car dealers say its impossible to unlock what do i do, is there a manual way to unlock it at home?
Ian the delco RDS radio has no unlock code period.What the RDS radio does have is part of the VIN number encoded from the original vehicle.If the dealer could not unlock the radio its not the factory radio in the S-10.Now would be a great for you to have them put a better upgrade radio in the S-10.Pioneer has some top rated units with all the bells and will make for a better sounding radio.Best of luck.
