K bud i have no choice this thing is at my work they just installed it like last month.
Yes, you can make an iPod work with it but you'll need a special cable. On the back of the head unit there is a special plug that is uniqe to Pioneer. Normally you would plug the adapter cable in there but after I checked into it, it would appear that this cable won't work with this unit. Because of this it would appear that you have only one option left. There should be an aux input on the front of your head unit. On mine it is a 3.5 mm jack, so I'll assume it's the same for you.
