If you are not happy with the quality of sound that your car speakers are giving you, install new ones and just listen to the change it makes. The speakers that factories install in cars just do not put out the quality of sound that most people want. Once you have chosen and purchased the new speakers that you want, instead of paying a professional to do it, you can install them yourself, and save money in the process.
You will save time by making sure you have all the tools you need to do the job before you are ready to begin. If the new speakers are the same size as the old ones, the process is quite simple. If you have purchased larger speakers, it will require more work to install them.
After gathering all of your tools keep them all together in one area and within your reach. You will need; a door panel remover and screwdrivers. If you are going to install larger speakers, you will need a cordless drill also. Some speakers have slip on wire connections or a connection feature with a button that allows you to simply insert the speaker wire into a hole. When the button is released, the wire is gripped to the connection. If the speakers do not have that feature, you will also need a wire cutter, stripper, and soldering supplies. New car stereo speakers come with a guide, so read it carefully and have it handy for reference. It is helpful too, to make sure you have plenty of room to open the car doors all the way, so your work area is more comfortable and so you are not trying to move around in a cramped space. Make sure you also have sufficient lighting to do the job. Once you have everything you need to install your new speakers, you can proceed. The whole job should be finished within a couple of hours and you will be proud of the fact that you did it yourself.
Some vehicles have speaker covers that need to be taken off before removing the door panel. This can most often be done with the use of a screw driver. The door panel will need to be removed to provide access to the old speakers for removal. The door panel remover makes it easy to do. Once the panels are off and the old speakers are in view, remove the wire from the speaker. Use the wire cutters if the connection has been soldered. Next, choose the correct size of screwdriver and remove the screws that are holding the speaker to the mount on the inside of the door. It is a good idea to clean out the area around the speakers before you install the new ones to help prevent loose debris from damaging them. If the speakers are larger, you will have to drill new holes in the mount or replace the mounting with a larger one.
Once you have set the new speakers onto their mounts, replace the screws and reattach the wires to the connections. Once you replace the door panels, your mission is accomplished. Now, take a drive and show off your news sounds.

The home theatre. The pinnacle of modern domestic achievement. When our ancestors flocked to the initial cinemas to gaze up in awe at the "picture shows," little did they guess that their descendents would one day snub such locations in favor of mammoth flat screen TVs and the latest in home theatre audio equipment. Because after all, why go out for dinner and a movie when you can stay in?
The home theatre system is the latest stage in America's ongoing romance with the television. What began as a simple black and white box has evolved into full-scale, no-holds-barred, virtual movie theatre that dominates at least one room in the average American home. And what is a movie theatre without sound? And not just any sound, but in-your-face sound that blows you out of your chair and makes you feel like you're actually in the building that just collapsed (or the space ship that just took off, or the semi that just jackknifed...). Yes, sound is the key to the home theatre experience, and when it comes to choosing an audio system to grace your den or family room, there is no shortage of options.
An integrated home theatre audio system is often referred to as "home theatre in a box," or HTiB. A basic system might include a 2.1 speaker system with left and right speakers and a small, 8-inch subwoofer. The most inexpensive such system will be no more than a few hundred dollars. A step up from the basic, costing several thousand dollars, might include a several-thousand-watt home theatre receiver with five to seven surround sound speakers and a powered, twelve-inch subwoofer. Finally, for those truly dedicated to their DVD collections, it is possible to build an entire room specifically designed for watching movies. Such rooms, which can cost in excess of $100,000, will often boast sophisticated acoustical design elements and will doubtless include audiophile-grade sound equipment. An audiophile, for those unfamiliar with the term, is a person who is enthusiastic about and uses high-fidelity sound reproduction equipment.
Not surprisingly, it is impossible to separate the visual from the audible when it comes to home theatre. The different levels of HTiB mentioned above are all associated with televisions of varying degrees of quality. Whereas the most basic system will probably use a standard CRT television, a mid-range setup might utilize a high-definition television and a matching video format. As for the specialized theatre rooms, well, they often include actual cinema mini-screens complete with projection booths.
To say that there are lots of different HTiB manufactures out there is undoubtedly an understatement. Samsung, Panasonic, Philips, Sony, Bose...all offer a variety of options when it comes to home theatre audio. Not all brands are created equal, of course, and certain labels have better reputations than others. It is therefore advisable to do a reasonable amount of research before purchasing a home theatre system. Factors that should be taken into account include not only desired quality and budget, but the space within which one has to work. It would be unfortunate, for example, to spend $5,000 on a top-of-the-line system only to discover that there is no place in your den for a twelve-inch subwoofer.

the biggest thing with what your doing is the finale ohm load to the amp in the end and depending on how you wire them the ohm load will vary but will be an odd ohm so i would suggest this amp http://www.woofersetc.com/p5764/1000-1v2--JL-Audio-1000-Watt-Mono-Amplifier.htm
see it is steady ay odd ohm's from 4ohm's down to 1.5 ohm's it put out 1000 watts rms constant no matter the ohm load within that range cant go wrong ,
as for wiring wire for subs like this

and the other wire in parallel to 2 ohm's then when you touch the 2+ and 2- speaker wires to the amp in the end you'll be at 1 ohm witch your amp can handle , but thats tricky and kinda hard to explain well in writing good luck
