I have been given a set of 3 reverse parking sensors with no instructions,,how do i wire them and fit them?
Also how far apart should the sensors be

if you are serious about fitting them yourself find out the make of sensors and contact the company for advice, as each brand differs from car to car with regard to sensor position and height, they can be tricky to fit even for experienced mechanics, if you are not fussed about doing the job yourself try a local auto electrician shop as they would fit them for a fee for you,

but the basics are the sensors should have 4 or 5 wires and they are
1. live feed
2. earth wire
3. reverse pick up
4. sensor input
5 . and or sensor output
the idea is to create a circuit with the sensors and the bleeper with a pick up from the reverse light wiring but as for sensor position if you only have three its most likely to be one in the centre and the other two about 50 cm apart in either direction if you have a tow bar they will have to be high on the bumper or they will pick up the tow bar if not roughly in the centre but not to low or they pick up the road
