Here are some more information for Screen Remote:

Currently 4 models are available in the Logitech Harmony advanced remote series, viz.
- Logitech Harmony One Advanced Universal Remote
- Logitech Harmony 1000 Advanced Universal Remote
- Logitech Harmony 890 Advanced Universal Remote
- Logitech Harmony 880 Advanced Universal Remote
So, which one will suit you best? Should you buy the ONE, the 1000, 890 or 880?
To complicate matters even further, the 880, 890 and One look quite the same. In addition to this, if you go to Logitech's webpage or any other webpage to help you decide, you'll still struggle to determine where the differences lie. It's not as straight-forward as you might think and chances are you'll end up buying the wrong one.
In this article I will help you to make the right decision for your personal circumstances.
Quality-wise there's no difference between the four models. However, there are some differences in features which may be important to you:
1. Touch-screen or not touch-screen. Only the 1000 and the ONE have touch-screen. If this is important to you, you have to consider one of these two. This does not mean that the 880 and 890 are inferior. By no means. As a matter of fact, I've read many reviews of people who actually prefer the traditional control buttons.
2. Radio frequency sensors: All models use infra-red sensors to control devices, but only the 890 and 1000 make use of radio frequency (RF) as well. This is a very important fact, since with RF you can control devices behind closed doors or even in another room. If this is important to you, you should consider either the 890 or the 1000. However, this comes at a price, as these two models are considerably more expensive than the other two.
3. RF and touch-screen: Only the 1000 have both RF and touch-screen. If both these features are important to you, you have to buy this one.
4. Design: The 880, 890 and the ONE have the familiar comfort-grip shape, whereas the 1000 has a rectangular shape. Apparently this shape has not been accepted that well, but for many it's not a problem at all. In any case, if you want both RF and touch-screen, you have to buy the 1000 model, whether you like the rectangular design or not.
5. Finally, pricing: There's a huge difference between the 880, going for $137.43 on the one hand, and the 1000 going for $312.80, on the other hand. The 890 goes for $277.10 and the ONE for $193.41. Everybody has to decide for himself whether the higher prices of the 890 and 1000 are justified in terms of his own budget or not.

Mikogo Releases Cross-Platform Remote Support Software
Mannheim, GERMANY April 16, 2009 – Mikogo has announced the release of the new remote control feature for its Mac Beta version, equipping the free cross-platform web conference software with a valuable remote support function. The news comes shortly after the successful release of Mikogo’s first Mac Beta version a month ago, and complements Mikogo’s version for PC computers.
Both Mikogo’s PC and Mac versions provide an easy-to-use web conferencing solution that allows any private user or company to organize an online meeting with up to 10 participants. Following today’s release, Mikogo users have a multi-purpose cross-platform application for online meetings as well as remote support, and all at no cost.
“Since last month’s Beta version, Mac users have been picking up our software for online meetings, web conferencing and screen sharing,” explains Erik Boos, Co-Founder of Mikogo. “Now with the new remote control feature, companies have an all-in-one software application that allows them to not only make Web presentations and conferences but also assist clients via remote support.”
While being available for businesses at no cost is undoubtedly an attractive feature, it is Mikogo’s ease of use and cross-platform function that will most likely appeal to a growing crowd. Users can organize a desktop sharing session, share any screen content, invite multiple participants, and access remote control, regardless of whether the organizer or participants are using Mac or PC computers.
“Whether someone wishes to organize a web conference or remote support session, Mikogo will establish a connection quickly without any need to make network or firewall changes,” says Boos. “Ease of use is a must for our users, and we are happy to make screen sharing and remote support so simple on both Mac and PC computers.”
Equipped with 256-bit AES encryption to ensure the security of all involved, along with a range of desktop sharing features, Mikogo is quickly and strongly establishing itself as a multi-purpose cross-platform application for online collaboration.

If you get out of full-screen mode in Remote Desktop, how do you get back in?
I am using Remote Desktop and have to get out of full-screen mode in order to use Snagit to grab part of the screen. I haven't been able to find any menu options to get back to full screen mode. I have to exit Remote Desktop and then run it again to get the display options. How do I get to display options from inside Remote Desktop?
Thanks !
Using the maximize button does not work. When I exit and come back in the screen is in a lower resolution. I have to max out the resolution to get it to work
Pressing ESC doesn't work either
See if this works..
Can you see the window bar at the top? Right click that and hit maximize.
