Park With Pride Using Reversing Sensors
Reversing sensors were developed to help drivers of automobiles detect obstacles that may lie behind their vehicles. Basically they aid drivers to get in and out of tight parking spots. By making use of these sensors you can keep your car safe from dents and scratches while managing to keep away from causing other people damage.
These devices make use of ultrasonic technology. Through this technology a cone of sound is radiated from your car’s bumper which then hits other objects and bounces off to give return a signal to the sensor. The sensor will then alert the driver by issuing a warning.
Reversing sensors calculate the distance between the rear of the car and the obstacles that lie in the way by converting the time taken for the sound waves to reach and bounce off the obstructions. These devices are known to give remarkably accurate predictions thereby making the entire processes of reverse parking easier even for the most amateur drivers.
Reversing sensor options
Today you will be able to find a wide variety of reversing sensors in the market. They vary in terms of their capabilities, features and designs. Over the years manufacturers of reversing sensors have updated their designs to develop discreet reversing sensors that are hardly noticeable when mounted on the rear bumper. Furthermore you have a range of options when it comes to mounting them on your bumper. You can go with the traditional flush fitting sensors that have an audio alert sensor inside the car. The more advanced models make use of a display screen along with the audio feedback. All of these are available in different mounting styles like bumper mounted strips, individual adhesive sensors and complete reversing sensor systems.
Benefits of reversing sensors
Reversing sensors have more than obvious safety advantages to offer. But if you look at it in the long run installing reversing sensors could save you bundles as you will be able to avoid causing accidents. The return on investment will be covered even if they save you from a single accident. With the reversing sensors installed you will never need to make insurance claims in case of accidents which will save you from paying that excess money of making a claim. Last but not least it will make you a far more confident driver especially when it comes to reverse parking. Hence by installing reversing sensors you will be able to avoid damaging your car as well as your pride.
Most of the good brands involved in the production of reversing sensors will be giving you a warranty with their products. This will cover your reversing sensors against manufacturing defects for up to a year. You can also claim for spare sensors incase your sensors are damaged by another vehicle ramming into you.
Generally reversing sensor systems are “do it yourself” when it comes to the installation process. Hence you can even have the reversing sensors of your choice delivered to your home and hook them up in a matter of minutes to enhance your parking pleasure.

Mass Air flow Sensor screen removal mod?
I put the screen back in, didn't like it, took it back out, get more throttle response, more power/speed (bit peppier)
On a stock 190 hp vehicle, about how much Hp have I gained?
I own a shop, a drag car & truck, and think this; I see this all the time at the drag strip, and yes it does give the engine more power, but does have a few drawbacks. The Mass Air Flow Sensor works by heating up like a light bulb filiment does (Not that hot though), and it measures the ambient air temp on the "in" side, thus figures the amount of air flow moving past the sensor. If you trick it into thinking there is more air moving than what really is, the computer widens the pulse rate of the injectors, allowing more fuel to the engine. Initally, you will see more power, and this is due to extra fuel, but unless you also increase the size of the throttle body to match this extra, you will see the O-2 sensor begin to clog up. Now; with this being said, its best to do this right. Check out:
http://www.jegs.com
and look up "High Performance Mass Airflow Sensors", "Venom Super flow GM fuel injectors", and a guide book on fuel injection modifications. Its really all about the calibration of each, and how they work together to maximize power. A cold air intake is worth 10 to 15% horsepower gain, so you would see 19 - 28.5 more horses. What you are feeling called "big difference" is this; Torque is what moves the vehicle, and more fuel will give you more torque out of the hole, but where it will fail you is; on the top end of the run where horsepower comes into play. You will slow the car down on the high end. The idea is to maximize power, and maintain the best air/fuel ratio through out the spectrum. To answer your question; You haven't gained horsepower, and actually lost it. You did gain torque on the low end, but lost horses on the high end. Go to your local drag strip, run the vehicle several times both ways, and record your numbers. You will see what you need to do, and even though you will show a gain on your 60' time, you will see a loss on the 1/8 mile, and beyond. In other words; it doesn't work without doing the whole deal, and this includes a programmer for your computer.
Hope this helps you out man.
Glad to help, Good Luck!!!
Farmers to benefit from quad bike collaboration
Farmers may soon be able to use their quad bikes to assess feed quality and pasture health. By riding over the paddocks, according to scientists, equipment on quad bikes could take the guesswork out of the assessment of nitrogen, energy and fibre levels of pasture.
