1. Hiding the speakers
Speakers already have their own enclosures, and are carefully engineered to perform at their best in a freestanding location. Remember to scale the size of the speakers to the size of the room that needs to be filled. Advances in technology and design have made it very possible to combine smaller size enclosures with high grade sound. How to keep a speaker box from sliding on carpet?
I'm going to be installing four 6X9's in boxes on the rear deck lid. I dont want to drill or destroy the deck lid so I need some good ideas how to keep them from sliding around without destroying the deck lid.
put carpet on the bottom of the speaker box. this will create friction with the other carpet and thus not letting the speaker box slide.
