How does this Electronic Drum Kit work?
I am looking at buying a Legacy DD501 Electronic Drum kit. I am unsure on how it actually produces the sound, Will it require me to buy an amplifier or is there a speaker built in somewhere.
If I need an amplifier for it would a Peavey Vypyr 30 Electric Guitar amplifier work?
All electric drum sets need some external speaker to produce sound.
Headphones with long cables will do nicely and yes your Peavey Amp will work just fine. Careful with bass drum though. Guitar speakers aren't great at handling super low tone.
