Why does every USB headset seem to short out after a few months and not work completely or 1 speaker only work
Not sure why this happens but it seems pretty dang cheap. Every headset I get regaurdless of high quality or not shorts out after a good 4-5 months out of the blue (and no I treat my headsets great) and all the sudden only 1 speaker will work or both start to short out where I have to play with the wire for it to work and it just shorts out again. Anyway, this is really frustrating having to religiously buy up to 3 a year because of this. I buy good headsets too logitech around 40-70$ range USB ones. Anyone have this happen to them or have any solutions?
If it keeps happening, then you're not treating the headsets te way you should. Make sure to not ever make any sharps bends in the wire, or pinch the cord. Also do not pull on or stretch out the cord. Since you're encountering physical problems, this is the only reason why that would happen.
