Volkswagen's Europe Events
In Berlin: Starting February 9 to 17 guests to the Berlin International Film Festival can take part on a city tour with a twist as Volkswagen takes them to a Film Location Tour. The said tour will take visitors to a journey through Berlin’s film history. Visitors will get to see where Horst Buchholz’s motorbike hit the road in Billy Wilders’ world-famous movie “One, Two, Three”, where Liza Minnelli sang her heart out in “Cabaret”, where Jackie Chan created havoc in “Around the World in 80 Days”, where James Bond ensnared the delectable “Octopussy” or where “Lola” ran---all these and other more surprises awaits visitors.
Two Volkswagen vehicles are to be utilized for the said tour, the Volkswagen Bus and Volkswagen Multivan which are both provided by Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles and are to fetch guests from Bellevue Strasse at the Sony Center. The guided tour is free of charge and scheduled to start at 9 am, midday and 3 pm. The tour is a first come, first served basis. Visitors are advised to make advanced registration at the “Volkswagen Startklar” located within the Sony Center.
All scheduled tours are accompanied by guides who will ensure that guests are entertained and secured. The guides will also give two hours of background info and anecdotes about the films and locations visited. According to Christiane Krebs-Hartmann, Head of Public Relations, “We are delighted that our vehicles are taking film enthusiasts to the locations where famous films were made. The Volkswagen Film Location Tour brings mobility to film history.”
For all journalists’ visitors, Volkswagen is going to offer special tours which starts at 11 am and 2 pm respectively for all accredited Festival journalists. The meeting place for the said tour is at Volkswagen Startklar that is within the Sony Center.
A Volksbus which is a very special Volkswagen model will takes the press representatives to various film locations. The Volksbus is a 12-meter VIP bus built in Brazil by the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles’ subsidiary Volkswagen Trucks and Buses. It is equipped with quality Volkswagen OEM parts. The VIP bus is powered by 320 hp Cummins diesel engine and can accommodate 32 guests. It is also fully air-conditioned plus with an exclusively designed interior. Its multi-function leather seats are adjustable to meet individual comfort requirements thus creating an ideal condition for learning Berlin’s film history.
In other news: Belgium Volkswagen says it’ll guarantee 22 hundred jobs at its Belgium plant if employees are commendable to work extra hours without the added pay. If in case, employees will agree on the automaker’s term it will keep the plant open after it phases out current production of the Golf. According to the automaker the plant will produce Polos and Audis after 2008, plus the new Audi small car. The factory would then concentrate in building Audis. Volkswagen is still waiting for its workers decision this month.

2002 Volkswagen Jetta, how good is it? Parts expensive?
I have a Mercedes Benz 2004 and well part and labor are real expensive, there is this guy that wants to buy my car and I buy his 2002 Jetta with 56000 miles, so I want to know how good this cars are and if its labor and part are expensive, like does it need like special stuff like my MB, ex: premium gas, only synthetic oil changes, etc.
If you know anything about this cars just let me know.

well i have 2 vws and yes jettas are great cars! no special needs like synthetic oil etc. parts are not so bad but labor hurts to look at.
