Here are some more information for Stock Car:

There's nothing quite like the sweet sound of your favorite music coming clearly through your car's audio system. Unfortunately, the stock speakers in most older or inexpensive cars really are nothing quite like that. Unless you happen to get a new car with expensive factory audio upgrade, you're forced to listen to tinny, crackling distortions that drive any music lover nuts.
To get a complete stereo system upgrade worth paying for, you normally need to spend a few thousand dollars to replace everything from the head unit, the power wiring, speaker wires and speakers. And of course you would be adding aftermarket amplifiers, speaker enclosures and other accessories. That's a big project and a large bill to pay all at once.
There is some good news though. You can get a huge improvement in sound just by replacing the factory speakers that came with your car. The cheap speakers that come with most cars are made with the lowest quality material and construction methods to keep the costs down. You will typically find weak paper cones, poor wiring, and brittle glue holding it all together. These materials degrade quickly after much use since an audio speaker is really a moving part in your car, but the cheap ones are not very mechanically sound.
Even inexpensive aftermarket speakers will sound better than these. At the lowest end, an aftermarket speaker will have better quality cones, domes, and wiring. Paper may still be used in the cones and domes, but it will be treated and stiffened to provide better sound quality and more durability.
If you can spend a little more money, you can get into some more exotic materials such as carbon fiber or specially designed plastics. This type of speaker will give you even more range, durability, and have a higher threshold for power if you choose to add amplifiers to your system down the road.
Going up one more step, you can get speakers designed for stock speaker replacement that will have a special configuration that puts two speakers, typically a mid-range and tweeter, into the same space as a single speaker. And if you have a compatible vehicle, you can even get tweeter and mid-range speaker kits that have the tweeter in a separate enclosure for you place in an appropriate spot in your car.
It may seem like overkill to spend much money putting good speakers into your car without replacing the tuner or adding amps, but you will notice a big improvement with just this one change, and it paves the way to upgrading your system incrementally. By replacing the speakers first, you're able to enjoy better sound immediately while you take the time upgrade the rest of your system.

General Information for Used Cars
We approach a steep downhill slope where the trail just seems to drop away from you. Since we don’t have a good view of the approach to the descent, Justin, the Land Rover driving instructor, suggests that we step out of the car to get a better sense of what lies ahead. We jump out of the confines of the Range Rover’s luxurious cabin onto a slippery surface of loose sand and rocks – suggesting that this may get somewhat tricky.
The Range’s parked just before a sharp left turn leading to the descent, which means that we have to turn the car and have it pointing straight before we start heading downhill – try going sideways through a steep downhill slope and you’re likely to find yourself on your roof very quickly. We get back in the car to activate the Range Rover’s Hill Decent Control (HDC), after which we proceed to navigate our way through trees on either side of the trail – taking a wide line so that we can straighten the car before we start heading downhill in earnest.
Justin now suggests that I simply keep the steering pointed straight and take my foot off the pedals. ‘Take my foot off the pedals?’ I look at him like he’s a man with a death wish but he nods reassuringly. The car lunges forward for an instant before the tires find grip and the Hill Descent system uses traction control to manage our downhill speed. I use all my will power to avoid following my natural instincts of standing on the brakes, which could possibly cause the car to pitch sideways and, as previously explained, eventually leave us sitting on our roof. The tires fight the surface for grip the whole way but the Hill Descent Control uses the angle of the slope to control our speed beautifully. We make it to the bottom of the hill without incident, and, in retrospect, quite easily – the technology in the Range Rover proving triumphant once again.
I’m attending the Land Rover Driving School at Quail Lodge in Carmel, California – one of the most scenic parts of the US west cost. Set amidst some of the best golf courses in the world, there’s about 100 acres of private forestland owned by Quail Lodge. This is used by Land Rover to educate anyone who cares about the finer points of off-road driving – in some of the best machinery in the world suited to the task. The Land Rover Driving Experience is an off-road driving school set up by the company in different parts of the US, essentially with the aim of providing owners or prospective owners the chance to experience the true capabilities of their vehicles in a safe and controlled environment, and, most importantly, sitting alongside professional driving instructors. The DTM version of the A4 is the car that’s campaigned in the Deutsche Touren Meisterschaft or German Touring Car Championship. It’s a bit like stock car racing, where the cars being raced have the general appearance – save for a few wings and fins – of a normal road going car but are completely different under the skin, and light minutes ahead in terms of technology when compared with the cars they’re based on. But first, let’s have a look at what the standard car is all about to better understand the DTM car.

who won the last USAC stock car championship and what year was it?
I can't remember if year Rusty Wallace and Ken Schrader fought for the USAC championship was the last year or if there was a couple of years after that when USAC stock car division folded.
I don't know. I hated USUCK's....I mean usac's stock car division. USUCK.....i mean usac........used to sanction the stockcar races at the Springfield mile, and at DuQuoin.
I'm checking on the answer for you now.
Still waiting on an answer from USUCK.....I mean usac. Do ya' see why I think they suck?????
Found it......
David Goldsberry won the championship in 1984. There were only 2 races in 1984, one at Springfield, and one at DuQuoin. Both were co-sanctioned with ARCA. 1980 was the year Ken and Rusty went at it, but finished 4th and 2nd respectively.
I personally know the drivers who finished 2nd and 4th in 1983, Butch Garner, and Roger Drake. I grew up watching both of them race at Macon.
