Can a wireless internet USB adapter be used on an Imac G3 with a Mac 9 operating system?
I have been looking around at a few of these refurbished blasts from the past and figured it would be a great learning tool for my daughter (who knows windows but little to nothing about MAC.) I would like to get one but I know she will complain if it is not compatible with our wireless internet.
Can you recommend a cheap effect way for her to get wireless internet or do I need to look for a different computer?

Another option is getting a wireless adapter that'll let you plug in an ethernet cable. That way you just need a network port on the iMac to get on the wireless network (no drivers needed). Here's examples of somethings that'll work :
