What's wrong with my 1995 tercel?
I have a base model 1995 Toyota tercel. It's supposed to be a 3 speeder -without an overdrive. -Sometimes- when I'm on the freeway going 60 and above, I feel that it doesn't go to the highest gear. It's not on first gear but I can feel a subtle difference. just a subtle difference in terms of sound and feel of the drive. I can tell because it's not always like that, sometimes, when its normal there is a more relaxed engine sound and good momentum when i let go of the gas BUT when it's not normal, there is a feeling of pulling back or restrained momentum when i let go of the gas. I went from 35miles per gallon to 29 right when this ordeal started. What could be my car's problem? by the way, the tranny fluid is about 1/4 inch over the full line because i added tranny solution. Is this bad? Also the engine oil is dark. What should i do?
It is bad to have the trans too full. Chainge the engine oil and trans fluid
