I was ready for a new Driver this year, so I tested three of them. I tried out the Taylormade Superquad R7 driver, the Nike Red Str8-Fit, and the TaylorMade R9 Supertri Driver. Since I am a big Tiger Woods fan, I wanted to try out the latest and greatest Nike. I have always had great results from TaylorMade drivers, so I was very curious to see which one I would like the best. I decided to try the TaylorMade Superquad r7 Driver first.

The TaylorMade Superquad r7 driver has a slightly open face when you set it on the ground. I'm a slicer, so I was concerned that I would slice any open face driver. After a few shots with the r7, I began hitting a high fade, but the hang time was noticeable. Compared to my previous Callaway, I knew that I was hitting the Taylormade longer. But I still had about a ten yard slice, so I adjusted the weight in the head. The TaylorMade Superquad r7 driver is adjustable, so I increased the weight in the heel. This gave me results that I was really looking for! I started hitting a medium high draw, hooking it only a couple of yards. I was very impressed with the technology, I was actually hitting a 2 yard draw! Overall I was happy with the looks of the head, and the sound was fine, some of these big head drivers sound pretty bad.

So I took out the Nike Str8-Fit driver. This one looks better than the last Nike I tried, which was the square head Sasquatch. I really wanted this golf club to be the one, because I am such a big Tiger fan. I had tried to buy a Nike before, but I just couldn't stomach that square headed one. This one (the Str8-Fit) looks better, it has a pretty nice look to it. At first I was slicing of course, the hang time seemed better than my Callaway, but it seemed not quite as long as the Taylormade. It was hard to measure, I just had to go by my gut feel. The sound was a little weird, but I figured I could probably get used to it. After I adjusted the weight, I started to hit it better. It wasn't as consistent as the TaylorMade, but I was still was getting a draw. Overall I had a pretty good impression of the Nike, although I noticed it was not as good on miss-hits as the other.

Golf Magazine said in April 2009, "You may recall that the USGA implemented a new rule last year that permits the use of "adjustable" clubs. At that time, Callaway, Nickent and TaylorMade debuted drivers with a locking mechanism (no epoxy) to connect the head and shaft. Now the age of adjustability takes on a new look thanks to TaylorMade's and Nike's latest creations. TaylorMade's R9 driver features "flight control technology" (FCT), which is an adjustable head-and-shaft system that gives you the ability to lock the clubhead into eight different settings". So the adjustable settings on these new drivers were right up my alley. My swing is not bad, but no matter how I tried, I have always hit about a ten yard fade (or slice) and I finally found a way to lose it.

The TaylorMade R9 TP driver was next. The head shape is a little different, they call it triangular. But it hits good, I got used to it right away. My golf shots were fading, hang time seemed good, better than the Nike. After I adjusted the head, I was able to get the draw back, the performance seemed to be good, about the same as the Nike, maybe a little better. The R9 gives a distinctive sound, it actually sounds pretty cool. I was getting worn out, so I decided to call it a day.

Overall I liked all three drivers much better than any I have had in the past. Golf is my number one hobby, so believe me when I tell you I have tried them all. I used to have a Yonex, when they were all the rage. I have had Berthas, burner bubbles, Titleist, you name it. The new adjustable drivers are awesome compared to any of the old ones. I would recommend any of the three I tried. I decided the TaylorMade out-performed the Nike, for me. I felt like I was hitting it longer and once I bought it, I knew I was right. I'm getting at least 20 yards more than my old driver, sometimes more. The draw helps, obviously my new (storebought) draw will go farther than my old slice.

I hope this story can help any of you out there. Get a new driver-you won't be sorry!!

Taking Career Tests - Good Way To Understand Your Career Option

Selecting a career option is not easy for most people. This is not because they lack focus. They may be unsure of their own talents or have more than one interest. This can make it difficult to effectively come to a decision about the one thing that they will stay interested in over a long period of time. A career test can make things a lot easier in such a situation. There are numerous types of personality assessments. However, a career test focuses on categorizing answers to a series of questions. Issues like whether the temperament of the examinee is that of an introvert or an extrovert, if the person or emotional or intellectual, critical or perceptive, and the values of the person are easily uncovered through such a test.

In a career test the choices are not right or wrong; it is just a matter of degree. As the questions describe personality traits in the form of statements, the examinee marks the most appropriate choice from a gradation that could have options like somewhat true, extremely true, neutral or not applicable. Usually these tests are short and can be completed quickly. Generally such a test may take only about ten minutes to fill up. There are a number of free to use career tests for livelihood found online but they would be just a part of the complete test. A career test per se is extensive and has to be taken through a professional assessor by paying a small fee. Such an assessor will tally the answers, study the results and come up with a career map.

It is easy to see from the results the areas that the examinee is strong in and those he or she may need further development. For example, if the person is an extrovert and makes decisions based on feelings, then a career of working in job that requires interaction with people is an excellent choice. On the other hand, research work or scientist is a good career choice for a person who is an introvert and an intellectual. When the results of a career test for livelihood are combined with the skills and abilities of the person, making a career choice becomes easy.

A long lasting career can result only when a person is happy with the work. And that in turn happens when skills and abilities are put to best use. Sometimes people go in for a career test even when they have been working for some time, since they may have started a career for reasons like advice of other people or glamour and so on. Eventually, they realize that the present career is not suiting their ability. Such people also benefit from career tests for livelihood.

Why does the battery in my car drain while driving and the alternator and battery has tested good?

We have put a charger on the car and the charge holds while the car is off. But when driving the car the battery drains in less than an hour. The alternator has been tested and shows to be good. The new battery has been tested and shows to be good. The head connectors for the battery have been changed. The problem is still occurring. What could the problem be?

You almost answered your own question. The fact of the matter is the battery is draining because of *lack of voltage. And what provides your battery with a re-charge of voltage? Your alternator.

How did they test it and what did they tell you? It's pretty obvious it's not charging between 13.5 - 14.0 volts with the engine running. Essentially the battery is used for starting, playing the radio with the engine off for a short period of time and four way-flasher use in emergencies. The alternator on the otherhand provides amperage to every electrical circuit in the car when the engine is running.
