I have a Sony TFT LCD color Display Monitor (model sdm-hs73); screen got scratch; Is it repairable? Any clue?
If I'm not mistaken that model has a thick, reflective shield. You might be able to fix this... use the lense repair solution that is sold at eye glass stores. This stuff will hide the scratch, but it may also leave a permanent distortion in the shield. Depends on how deep/wide the scratch is.
If the monitor is like every other LCD out there and has a soft shield (you touch the screen and the image distorts), then you'll have to live with it. You'll probably do more damage to it by trying to repair it.
