What are nylon plastic fasteners and how are they used? Nylon fasteners are used in everyday living for everything imaginable. What is a Cable Tie?

How do i put nylon strings on my acoustic guitar?
Hey guys, i just bought nylon strings for my acoustic guitar, but i can't put them on... its hard to explain but, i have a fender dreadnaught. The ends of my d'addario nylon strings have no circles in it! its just string, not like other metal strings... what do i do?!?! tie a knot?

If you don't have the right bridge, you're probably going to have a very hard time of it. Nylon stringed guitars don't use bridge pins like steel string guitars, but rather have a raised bar around which you tie the nylon strings. Visit the attached link for a picture and description of how they're normally attached.
Nylon string guitars are also set up for lower tension and don't have as much backbow on the neck. You can try to tie multiple knots in the nylon string and then feed it through to be held in by the bridge pin, but it will probably not have enough tension to raise the strings up off the frets. You'll also probably have a problem with the strings popping loose when the knots come undone.
