All I have is the USB that plugs into the back of my computer!
Unless you are planning on taking a laptop and you have a travel adaptor for that then I would say yes. I have a power adaptor for mine which the end of the USB cable just connects to. You may be able to get one of those for the country which you live in and then get a regular travel adaptor which means you always have a power adaptor for when you can't get to a PC in your home country and you can just plug it into a regular adaptor. Alternatively I've seen sets where you can slide the different plugs for different countries into an adaptor which connects to your iPod or iPhone USB lead. It may be worthwhile seeing how much they are and which is the most cost effective and useful option for you. Good luck
