Changing the look of your Ford, Dodge, Chevy or GMC truck is a great way to add flair and style to your ride. You will find that an incredible number of custom options exists, no matter what brand of truck you drive. However, one of the most popular (and most dramatic) ways to make your truck stand out is to replace your manufacturer's grille with a custom grille insert. That said, you should consider several factors in your purchase decision. Rushing out and buying just any old insert is a bad idea. Why? Horizontal or Vertical?
As you will be replacing the manufacturer's insert, you will have the option of going with a horizontal or vertical design. Getting rid of that honeycomb pattern has never been simpler. I have a 96 silverado 1500 and own a western uni mount plow. I was wanting to know how much it would cost on avarage to get the wiring, mount,plow installed on my truck professionaly.
You could get one installed for about 1,300 for you model. If you read up about it and spend have about 4 to 5 hours of extra time you could do it your self for about 300-400
