Here are some more information for Unit Oem:

I am often asked what is the Compressor Best suited for 12V DC Compressor applications. My answer is generally the same. It depends on how you intend to use the compressor or vacuum pump in your application. There are many things to consider when specifying a compressor or Vacuum Compressor Pump for your particular requirement.
Since the OEM Compressor or Vacuum Compressor Pump is the heart of any OEM or on board air circuit application, it is essential that the engineer responsible for selecting the device consider the following during the evaluation process.
• Flow vs. Pressure - This seems very simple, but until you know the flow rate @ the required pressure, you will not be able to begin your selection process. I can't tell you how many people have called me looking for a 12V DC Compressor and said my pressure and flow requirement is very low... In the OEM Compressor business, one person's low pressure is another person's high pressure if you know what I mean. A note of caution here. Many manufacturers list their pump air flow rates @ zero pressure! When in doubt, always refer to the manufactures flow vs. pressure performance curves.
• Duty Cycle - You will also need to determine how long you anticipate that the pump will need to run to complete a full cycle in your pneumatic circuit. If your system requires a Compressor Best 100% duty cycle, then don't waste your time considering pumps that cannot deliver this performance. On the other hand, if you only require a pump that will run 15% of the time, you will over spend by specifying a continuous run pump.
• Vibration - Will high vibration levels have a negative effect on your finished product? Each manufacturer uses different design principals. Thomas Rietshle for example offers Wobble Compressor type compressors while the ROC-R design is offered by another manufacturer. GTek Automation uses a design referred to as the Waving Integrated Piston. Each design offers advantages and disadvantages so bread board testing is typically the only way to verify which unit will meet your requirement.
• Noise - It seems that every OEM customer is concerned about noise level. Each pump has unique sound characteristics so determining if a specific unit will be the Compressor Best suited for the application may be difficult. The ultimate answer is typically found when the pump is installed into the enclosure and is running side by side with components in the devise.
• Foot Print - Will the unit fit into the space you have available? In general, the higher flow, the bigger the pump. You should also verify if the pump you are considering has mounting restrictions. Most diaphragm pumps for example must be mounted horizontally.
• Life Time - How long do need the pump to last? If your end product only has a 90 day warrantee, than the Compressor Best suited for your application may be a very inexpensive one. If your product has a very long warranty period, then the Compressor Best suited for the application may be a higher end unit which carries a similar warranty.
• Cost - Last but not least is cost. I can't tell you how many times I have asked potential customers all of the above questions and they have answered that they need the all of the best attributes for their application. When I ask them how much they have budgeted for these critical performance characteristics, they answer "about forty dollars". I suggest that the customer be realistic when searching for the Compressor Best suited for their application. If the pump requirements are critical be prepared to pay for what you are asking for. If specifications to be met are light and the duty cycle is low, there are many excellent alternatives on the market.

Bombardier Becomes First Oem To Earn Accreditaton From Aircraft Fleet Recycling Association (Afra)
MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Feb. 23, 2010) - Bombardier Aerospace and the Aircraft Fleet Recycling Association (AFRA) today announced that Bombardier's aircraft dismantling operations have officially been accreditated by AFRA. The accreditation, which was awarded following a comprehensive two-day audit, covers teardown efforts for CRJ100/200 regional jets at Bombardier's Service Centers in Bridgeport West Virginia and Tucson, Arizona. AFRA is recognized worldwide for its leadership in promoting best practices for salvaging and recycling components taken from aging aircraft during disassembly.
The AFRA endorsement marks another step in Bombardier's drive to reduce the environmental impact of its products at each stage of the aircraft's life cycle, up to and including the end of its service life.
"Bombardier is proud to be the first original equipment manufacturer to obtain this certification," said James Hoblyn, President, Customer Services & Specialized and Amphibious Aircraft, Bombardier Aerospace. "We are committed to being at the forefront of the aerospace industry with regard to corporate social responsibility and environmental stewardship, and are continually embedding sustainable development principles into our day-to-day practices - whether it be in recycling aircraft parts, reducing and offsetting carbon emissions or desigining aircraft with reduced environmental impact."
"We are delighted to extend AFRA's accreditation to such a prominent and prestigious company as Bombardier Aerospace," said Martin Fraissignes, Executive Director of AFRA. "Their AFRA accreditation further recognises Bombardier Aerospace's continuing commitment to environmental best practice and operational excellence in the field of aircraft dismantling and parts recycling. The fact that a distinguished company such as Bombardier Aerospace seeks AFRA accreditation for their aircraft recycling activities, further reinforces the fact that AFRA is the global industry leader in defining environmental and technical standards in managing end of life aircraft."
"AFRA now sets the industry standards for the safe and sustainable disassembly of end-of-service aircraft - and these standards are of such environmental and financial value," continued Mr. Fraissignes, "that the leaders in the industry continue to adopt them, as can be seen by the steadily increasing interest in AFRA accreditation."
In August, Bombardier announced that it would work in conjunction with Magellan Aircraft Services LLLP of Charlotte, North Carolina to disassemble CRJ100/200 regional jets, refurbish useable components and remarket them to operators. Bombardier has estimated that each of the 10 CRJ100/200 aircraft covered under the initial agreement and managed by Bombardier Commercial Aircraft's Asset Management Group (AMG) has an estimated 1,500 serviceable parts, including 300 line replaceable units (LRUs).
Magellan was awarded AFRA accreditation in December 2009 and will facilitate access to genuine, certified parts for operators of CRJ aircraft around the world through its global network.
On December 1, 2009, Bombardier Inc. issued its second company-wide corporate social responsibility report, Moving Forward Responsibly, available on the company website.
The legendary CRJ100/200 aircraft, the world's first 50-seat regional jets, was launched in March 1989. As of January 31, 2010, Bombardier had delivered more than 1,040 CRJ100/200/440 aircraft and their corporate variants to operators around the world.
About AFRA
Established in 2006, AFRA is a not-for-profit industry association with 42 members whose businesses focus on environmentally responsible management of aircraft as they reach the end of their life cycles. AFRA members have many years of combined aircraft recycling experience:
- 30% of the worlds fleet that was recycled in 2009 was done at AFRA member facilities
- 50% of the world's parked fleet is stored at AFRA member facilities, and
- AFRA members recycled 217,000 tons of Aluminum, 3,700 tons of high-strength alloys, and 600 tons of used aircraft parts were returned safely to service

Are OEM car radios batter than aftermarket units?
I have a 2003 Ford Ranger that still has it's OE radio/cd player. I also have a Sirius Sportster4 hooked up to it. Recently, the cd player stopped working. To complicate matters my wife want a Sirius too. I seldom listen to am/fm anymore and all I need the radio for is to listen to cds. I know the Sirius uses an unused fm channel as link to get to my speakers. Am I better off moving the Sirus to her car and going all new in my truck, or fixing my radio and buying another Sporster for her car? The guy at the shop thinks the factory recievers get better reception than aftermarket units
ok lets say you go to the movies and the crook are out for the night braking in to vehicles
they run in to 2 2003 ford rangers in the parking lot and look inside the window
what window are they going to brake ?
ranger with OEM radio
or ranger with new aftermarket radio ? maybe there are amplifiers and woofers in the back
do you know how much is the window for your truck ?
yes it cost a lot more than the new radio
also OEM IS better and there is nothing wrong with sound quality
you want more volume add a 4 channel amplifier
good luck
