800 watt amp used with 8 guage 600 watt maximum amp kit?
I have a 800 watt amp and purchased a 8 guage amp kit that says 600 watt max. Will this work??? Or should I get an amp kit that supports at least 800 watts?
if the amp is 800 watts max then you're going to be just fine. if it's 800 rms then 4 gauge cable will be better.
Look at the fuse on your amp and make sure the fuse on the amp kit is the same size or a little bit bigger.
