You have received and connected your digital converter box to use with your analog TV to receive broadcast Digital TV (known as DTV) signals and are planning to record a program on your VCR while watching a program on another channel. Can you do this? Yes, however, you will have to get another converter box to connect to your VCR which works with the analog signals. It may also be wise to have an antenna for each device. However, if the station signal is strong enough, an antenna splitter can be used.
I would suggest trying that before you purchase a converter box. Each converter box comes with its own remote control, so having the converter boxes using different manufacturers may be needed. This type of converter box normally cost more and may not be available at all stores.
Digital TVs will improve the picture and sound quality of television signals. This service will free up parts of the broadcast spectrum, because of its efficiency. The Government plans to use this for emergency broadcasts. You will also be able to get more programs than the old analog TV signals.

How To Change Your Phone To A T.V Remote
Don't you find it annoying when you loose your TV remote? What about when someone steals the batteries out of it? Well now with the special software, its now possible to turn your mobile phone into a Universal TV remote. There are several pieces of software available to do this what can be uploaded and installed on your mobile phone.
The software can be downloaded from various mobile software vendors. The program is written for Symbian based mobile phones, so the likes of Nokia (See List) will support it.
Once you found the software, upload it onto your Nokia and install it. Below are instructions on how to upload files to your Nokia and what you will need to do so.
Three items you will need are Nokia mobile phone (see list below), USB data cable or Bluetooth USB dongle and
Nokia PC Suite.
Firstly, install the Nokia PC Suite software onto your computer, you can easily get this software off the Nokia website. Once installed, connect your Nokia Mobile to the computer via USB Cable, the software should automatically detect your phone.
Load up the PC Suite software. On the main screen, you should see 'File Manager' option, click on that and it will open up a window with your mobile phone directory. Here you can find all your files like video recordings and photos.
Simply drag the Software over to your mobile phone directory and allow it a minute or so to upload.

How do I get my universal remote to work with my Sony dvd/vcr combo?
I have a Sony (RDR-VX500) VCR/DVD Combo, and I just got a new Universal Remote control. I tried all of the codes in the manual to get the control to sync with my dvd combo, but nothing works, not even the seek feature. Any ideas?
