If you are looking to buy a car with great gas mileage be sure to check the list above. Just because a car gets the best gas mileage doesn't always mean it is the cheapest in the long run. Which is the better car, Scion xa or Yaris?
Hi everyone, I am a single, older woman, needing a fuel efficient, reliable car. I haven't had good luck and want to make the best choice. Thanks.
They have the same motor but the xA has a shorter gear ratio which means it'll be more zippy, but the milage suffers just a bit. 31-38 in the xA and 34-41 mpg in the Yaris.
HOWEVER,
the xA has standard ABS and Power windows and locks. this in addition to a slightly better ride and feel for close to the same money means there is a lot better value in the xA.
Toyota Reports May 2010 Sales
TORRANCE, CA - June 2, 2010: Toyota Motor Sales (TMS), U.S.A., Inc. today reported May sales of 162,813 vehicles. With equal selling days in May 2009 and 2010, sales were up 6.7 percent over the year-ago month on a daily selling rate and unadjusted raw volume basis.
